Get All The Features Your Mailbox Is Currently Missing
If you're anything like us, you use a single email app on your Mac to consolidate all of your accounts. We’ve grown used to Apple’s default email application called Mail, which is very standard and lacks many of the enhanced features that newer programs already have by default. About a year ago we started searching for a new email platform that would be as friendly as Apple Mail but included features like email snoozing, scheduling, and tracking. After trying a wide array of apps, we came across MailButler, an Apple Mail assistant software that acts as a third-party extension.
MailButler was created by Feingeist, a German based company that develops useful software for Mac OS X. The company’s mission is to make the lives of Mac users easier by providing software that helps complete daily tasks in the most convenient, efficient, and elegant way possible. MailButler turns Mail into the ultimate email management platform by adding multiple productivity features. Email Scheduling, allows you to type an email today and automatically send it on a later date and time of your choosing. Open Tracking, visually notifies you if your sent email was opened by the recipient, and Undo Send, conveniently allows you to recall sent emails within a specific time period (in case you typed an email to your boss quitting after hearing the loto numbers and then realize you are not the winner). Other enhancements include the ability to add emails to notes and tasks for increased productivity. Email Snoozing, for example, makes your messages disappear from your inbox and reappear at a later chosen time, and Inbox Pause, allows to stop receiving messages for a set amount of time so you can concentrate on other things (or enjoy time off work).
If you use a Mac for work, you’ll be glad to know that Feingeist also offers a MailButler Business version which allows email management for teams. All the regular MailButler’s functions are included as well as advanced features specific to company management. Team managers, for example, can easily assign roles to their team members and analyze their activity through a statistics dashboard. Team members can delegate tasks to colleagues or BCC to your CRM tool, to keep track of customer requests. Custom email signatures and signature templates make sure your brand is uniformly represented, and shared message templates help your team be consistent in language and save time with standard answers.
MailButler proves that we don't need to change our Mail app in order to get the features we want. Now, it's almost hard to imagine that there was a time when if we wanted an email to be sent at 9am on a Monday, we actually had to wake up early that day to write it. Well not anymore!
