Finally The Apple Watch That Convinced Us
The first Apple Watch was really cool and innovative but it was far from being a perfect smartwatch. A wearable should give you freedom and independence, but the first generation Apple Watch fell a little short on both. It was just too dependable on the iPhone. This new iteration of the smartwatch solves many of the prior generation's mistakes. With the latests release, Apple has completely redesigned the Watch turning it into a stand-alone computing machine. The built-in GPS allows you to record precise distance and map your runs without taking your iPhone with you. An upgraded and twice as bright OLED retina display gives you a better glance at your information, even under direct sunlight. The watchcase has been reengineered to be water resistant up to 50 meters, which means you can now swim or surf with your Apple Watch. New algorithms have been programmed to track water sports and new quests for indoor activities have been added. As if all this wasn’t enough, the new S2 chip provides better computing power and less energy consumption, meaning more and better useful time on your wrist.
Surprisingly, Apple has rearranged the pricing ladder for the family of Watches, pricing the Nike+ Apple Watch for the same amount as the regular Apple Watch series 2. This obviously makes it more worthwhile for the Nike+ version, since it includes an exclusively designed Nike Sport Band as well as some minor software additions that will help keep you motivated to run.
